Affiliated Resources was founded on January 17, 1995, with a clear vision and purpose.

Our name encapsulated our mission: to establish strategic partnerships between primary resource manufacturers and long-term OEM, agriculture, and industrial customers. Through collaborative affiliations, we aimed to deliver industry-specific proprietary products tailored to our customers' requirements. Our commitment to fostering enduring relationships with suppliers, processors, and customers has been at the core of our business ethos.

FOREST CITY TRADING GROUP

Our breakthrough came with the launch of AQUA TECH® panel products, specifically designed for the boat building industry. This marked the beginning of our legacy of product innovation and development.

Utilizing an in-depth understanding of wood fiber properties and advancements in coatings and lamination, we launched TRED-eX® products, including TRED-eXtra® and TRED-eXtreme® floor decking solutions for mezzanine floors. Through our expertise, we developed two distinct floor panels, each engineered to meet specific wheel load end-use applications, establishing us as leaders.

Shortly after, in response to customer needs and insights from OEM production facilities, we introduced Dyna Span® jumbo-sized floor panels for RV floors, followed by a range of Dyna-Bilt® products tailored for the Recreation Vehicle (RV) Industry, setting new standards for quality and performance.

In 2009, we expanded into agricultural markets through strategic acquisitions, broadening our product portfolio and customer base. Our Blue Ribbon agricultural products gained recognition for their strength, stability, and consistency, solidifying our position as a trusted supplier in the agricultural sector.

In 2010, we partnered with a multinational panel company to develop, test, certify, and distribute MAXtek® OSB facers, further enhancing our product offerings for structural applications. Our commitment to designing panels for specific end-use applications led to the development of PAKtite® panels, optimized for cargo trailers, showcasing our dedication to innovation and customer-centric solutions.

In 2021, Affiliated Resources joined the Forest City Trading Group (FCTG), a testament to our reputation for product innovation and market leadership. Today, as a proud member of FCTG, we continue to operate independently, guided by a team of dedicated professionals committed to excellence.
